Anika's Peace Project Glitter and Glam Squad delights senior citizens with a fashion show.
Residents living at Citrus Hills Senior Center were entertained on December 9, 2017, by Anika's Peace Project Glitter and Glam Squad as they walked down the isle modeling their creative outfits.
Anika Alexa Ortiz, Founder of Anika's Pink Project, organized the community service event as part the nonprofit's mission to help young girls build their self-esteem, and serve the community. She trained 7 girls ages 5 through 10 basic modeling technics and then provided them with the opportunity to display their new found skill and confidence by modeling for the senior residents.
